Jim Caruso: NEWS - October 20, 2008

After two years of traveling the world singing and dancing with Liza Minnelli, Jim is thrilled to announce that as of December 3, Liza's At The Palace! Jim will be on the legendary Broadway stage with pals Cortes Alexander, Tiger Martina, Johnny Rodgers and, of course, Liza for a limited run through December 14. Directed and choreographed by Ron Lewis, Act I is a regular Minnelli-fest which will include many favorites. Act II is a dance-filled tribute to the late, extremely great Kay Thompson, Liza's godmother, who turned the nightclub world on it's ear with her groundbreaking act with The Williams Brothers. There's a twelve-piece orchestra led by Mike Berkowitz, Billy Stritch is the pianist/musical supervisor, Liza and David Zippel did the scripting, Matt Berman has designed the lights, and Matt Krauss is doing sound! You just have to be there!
